114th Orientation Course inaugurated by Dr Bhushan K.Sharma

Chandigarh, May 2, 2017: 114th Orientation Course being conducted by the UGC- Human Resource Development Centre, Panjab University(PU), Chandigarh was inaugurated by Dr Bhushan K.Sharma, Principal of the GGDSD College, Sector-32, Chandigarh – one of the three A+ graded colleges of the country.
Dr Bhushan in his key note address spoke about ‘Economical Issues of the Country’. He quoted the cases of Vodafone, Participatory Notes, FDI, FII derivatives etc. In the present environment these are several acts which have gone defunct and should be abolished. He also talked about misconceptions about stock market. We must appreciate our system which has remarkably grown in the last 60 years despite of the population.
Professor Karamjeet Singh, Director, UGC-Human Resource Development Centre interacted with the participants coming from different corners of the country and conveyed that teaching should not be taken as a burden but as a mission. He inspired them to be open to the novel ideas which they will come across during the programme.
43 faculty members from different areas are attending the programme.
