Ludhiana, July 17, 2016: 1100th free artificial limbs distribution camp was organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust Punjab today at Viklang Shayata Kendre, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana, in which Artificial limbs, Calipers, Try Cycle & Hearing aids were given to 46 physically handicapped persons. Mission Sahyog, a NGO floated by young entrepreneurs of Ludhiana also contributed in this camp. They assured all cooperation and help in future also.
Sh.Ajay Sharma, Finance Secretary Trust welcomed the audience & guests and told that since 1996 Trust has organized 1099 camps in which artificial limbs, Calipers, Crutches, Tricycle & Hearing aids have been provided to more than 46123 physically handicapped persons. The Trust has also organized 142 Polio Surgery Camps in which 2302 polio operations have been done successfully.
Sh. R.P Gupta, Sh. R.K Walia- President Vivekanad Branch, Smt. Aruna Puri, Smt. Tripta Mehta, S. Upkar Singh Bhalla from Bharat Vikas Parishad and Sh. Rishab Manu Gupta, Atul Vanika Gogia, Varun Sood, Rahul Bansal from Mission Sahyog were present on this occasion.
