Chandigarh, August 20, 2019: A Tree Plantation drive was organised in Women Hostel No.6 (Mother Teresa Hall) in its premises under the guidance of Sh. Anil Thakur, Deputy Executive Engineer (Horticulture), Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Prof. Emanual Nahar, Dean Student Welfare and Prof. Neena Caplash, Dean Student Welfare (W) planted the trees in the hostel alongwith the warden, Dr. Namita Gupta, staff members and residents. The wardens of other hostels were also present on this moment.

Prof. Emanual Nahar and Prof. Neena Caplash also inaugurated the fruit garden of the hostel. The fruit garden has been created to provide fruits to residents who cannot afford to purchase fruits from the market.
The residents pledged to take care of these plants.
