1 killed in car accident near Dharamshala

Dharamshala, November 28, 2019: Bhim Singh (75) brother of Sarah Panchayat Pradhan, was killed on the spot when the car in which he was driving fell in a deep ditch near the Kunal Pathari Temple on the Sarah-Dharamshala road, on Thursday.
Police have recovered the body from the ill-fated car and took it to the Zonal Hospital at Dharamshala for conducting post-mortem.
Bhim Singh had retired years back from the Army.
The villagers say that after retiring from the army, he joined Fire Brigade as driver and also drove fire engine in Dharamshala for many years. Now, only ten days back he bought this new car, which became the reason for his death. Police say that while negotiating a turn car went off near the Kunal Pathari Temple, the car fell into a 100 feet deep ditch. The accident was so terrible that Bhim Singh, an ex-serviceman, who was driving the car, died on the spot.
Police are making further investigations.
