UHF Vice Chancellor meets employees associations
Dr Parvinder Kaushal, who took over as Vice-Chancellor of Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni on Tuesday today met the different employee associations of the university. Dr Kaushal held separate meetings with the office bearers of the different associations-Non Teaching Employees Welfare Association, Farm Technocrats Association, Personal Staff Association, Technical and Class Four Employees Union and Technical Employees Welfare Association. Dr Kaushal interacted with all the Associations and listened to their grievances and assured them a roadmap will be developed to look into the problems of the employees. Dr Kaushal urged members of all the association to work together for the development of the university so that UHF Nauni can effectively and efficiently reach the farming community and lead the way in the development of this sector. He also met the Central Students’ Association of the university and members of the All India Agricultural Students’s Association. He assured the students in developing the campus into a world-class centre of learning. Several retired staff and progressive farmers from the state also met Dr Kaushal and congratulated him. Earlier on Tuesday, the Vice Chancellor interacted with all the statutory officers of the university and understood the working of different departments. He said that the university will make all efforts to improve its academic, research and extension activities so that the university can attain greater heights and improve its national and international standing.
