Three Researchers from Public Administration to Present Research Papers at National University of Singapore

Chandigarh, June 23, 2017: Three research scholars namely Mr Mohammad Sohail, Ms Manju Dalal and Ms Rimpi from the Department of Public Administration, Panjab University, Chandigarh have been selected to present research papers at International Conference of Public Policy jointly organized by International Public Policy Association (IPPA), France and Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore from June 28-30, 2017. Mr Mohammad Sohail will present a paper (co-authored with Professor B.S.Ghuman) titled, “Regulating and Promoting Quality Research in India: Assessing the Role of the University Grants Commission”. Ms. ManjuDalal will make a presentation (co-authored with Dr Navreet) on “Facilitating Sustainable Development of Rural Women through Financial inclusion with Special Reference to National Rural Livelihood Mission in State of Haryana (India): An Assessment” while Ms.Rimpi’s paper (co-authored with Professor B.S. Ghuman) deals with “Access of Students with Disabilities in Higher Education in India: A Case Study of Panjab University, Chandigarh”. Mohammad Sohail has also been offered Asian Scholars Grant by Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. IPPA is a non-profit organisation aiming to promote scientific research in the field of Public Policy and to contribute to its international development. As a part of NUS, the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy educates and trains the next generation of Asian policy-makers and leaders.
