Chandigarh, July 7, 2017: BJP national Secretary Tarun Chugh has demanded action against Punjab Technical Education Minister Charanjit Singh Channi for getting build an illegal 'Goodluck Road' leading to his official bungalow at Chandigarh.

Chugh said, earlier it was heard that Capt Amarinder Singh's government was being run on the advice of his Pakistani friend Aroosa Alam but now it has transpired that the ministers of his government were taking directions and making decisions on the advice of 'Tantriks', Astrologers and Vaastu experts.

The BJP leader said, "It would have been better if the minister took the advice of experts on matters concerning welfare of the people of the state but the 'insecure' minister looking for good luck did not hesitate and decided to break the law."

Chugh said the Minister was probably told by some 'subject experts' that the entry to his house from the present road was not auspicious and he should get a road build according to their advice. He said the minister, who felt that he was the ultimate authority and could get away even after violation of the law, did not seek any permission and instead got a road build according to his choice.

He suggested that seeing Minister's interest in 'Tantriks', Astrologers and Vaastu experts, Capt Amarinder should introduce a new ministry the charge of which should be handed over to Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi. "Technical Education is an important and scientific subject which needs mature handling," he said.
