Students made sitting benches from scrapped tyres and drums

Jalandhar, June 20, 2017: In order to promote Go-Green and making best out of waste, the students of CT Group have created a Sitting Benches from scrap tyre and drums. The benches have been installed in the CT Institutions, Shahpur Campus.
Students said that people generally throw away the usable items in the scrap. From them, they have collected the scrap tyres and drums to use them in creating these benches. Otherwise, the scrap tyres and drums usually filled up with water and leads to diseases like Dengue and Malaria. The project of creating best out of the waste will be followed.
Chairman, CT Group appreciated the efforts of the students. He said, “Jalandhar is becoming a Smart City, such initiatives of youngsters will help our city to attain the smart city tag easily.”
