Dharmsala, December 8, 2012: Tibetan Central Administration (CTA) here claimed today that 3,74,690 people have joined the Solidarity with Tibet campaign through social networking sites so far.

The Solidarity with Tibet campaign was called by Tibetan Government -in- Exile PM (Sikyong) Dr Lobsang Sangay on Wednesday to draw the international community’s attention to the deteriorating human rights situation in Tibet.

The official of CTA said that the video on self-immolations has also been viewed by over 10,000 within two days of its launch.

Excited by the good response of campaign Sikyong had appealed to friends and members of the international community to stand in solidarity with Tibet by sharing the link to the micro site, and video on self-immolations with circle of friends.  He also urged them to Sign-up on Thunderclap to share a synchronised message (at www.solidaritywithtibet.org) so that on December 10 (Human Rights Day) as many people as possible will be made aware of the current situation in Tibet through the Solidarity with Tibet Campaign
