Shimla, May 23, 2017: Miss Jayawanti who won the silver medal in Kukkiwon Cup Indian International Taekwondo Championship met Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh here today and sought his blessings for her future endeavours.
Organised by India Dojang Sports Organisation, Jayawanti won the silver medal in under 67 category. The Championship was organised in New Delhi from 16 to 18th May, 2017 in which around 1500 players from nine countries participated.
The Chief Minister lauded her efforts and congratulated for the feat. He said that it was good to see girls from the state participating in all most every sports activities besides excelling themselves in academics as well.
Miss Jayawanti is working as constable in C.M. security at present.
