Thirteen students from GGSPS got selected for Indo- Nepal Karate Championship 2012-13 which is going to be held at Rangshala Stadium, Sounali, near Kathmandu, Nepal on January 8.

Ludhiana, January 5, 2013: As all we are aware about the various crime against the women in our country, so government is focusing on the self defense education to girls in educational institutions.

Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Ludhiana became the pioneer and started this wonderful self-defense technique much earlier.

Recently, 13 students, in which that are Noordeep Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Damanpreet Kaur, Kawardeep Singh, Anupreet Kaur, Parampreet Kaur, Prabsimranjeet Singh and Jaswinder Singh most of girl students, from GGSPS got selected for Indo- Nepal Karate Championship 2012-13 which is going to be held at Rangshala Stadium, Sounali, near Kathmandu, Nepal on January 8. These students have been selected on the basis of their performance in State, North India, and National Karate Championships and they have brought laurels to the school.

Students will depart on January 6 and will return by January 11.

Students of GGSPS have brought laurels by being selected for International Event in Soft Tennis. They participated in National School Soft Tennis Championship held at Devas, Madhya Pradesh.

Principal, Manjeet Kaur, wished them good luck and expressed a great hope for wonders in said event by GGSPians.

Chairman of the school, Avtar Singh, President SGPC has sent his blessings for the success of the students in the competition.
