Delhi: The School of Policy and Governance today announced the opening of registrations for its first series of executive programmes that will be held in Delhi (6 & 7 Oct 2017) and Chennai ( 8 & 9 Oct 2017) respectively next month. The mega-exclusive event will see the stalwarts of the community, political experts, communications strategy specialists, and digital communications experts come together for the first time to share, discuss and explore ideas on building online communities for civic engagements, on the same platform.
The two-day executive education programme which will take place consecutively in Delhi and Chennai,has been launched in partnership with the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney. The School of Policy and Governance aims to create and prepare leaders in the developing world to solve public problems. This executive education programme is the first in a series of such programmes the School of Policy and Governance will offer in India.It is suitable for professionals and postgraduate students alike in the political field, not-for-profit sector and digitalindustry, along with the CSR divisions of corporations. Applications will close at 11:59pm (IST) on 25 September 2017.
The two-day series will see highly acclaimed practitioners from India and around the world. Some of the names include Matthew Ipcar,Former Design Director for Obama-Biden Presidential Team andpresently Executive Creative Director at Blue State Digital; Preethi Herman, Head, Change.org Foundation, India; Richard Mills, Former Head of Corporate Communications, World Bank and presently Director of Communications and Advocacy at the George Institute for Global Health, Australia; Arvind Gupta, National Technology Head, BJP; Deepa Bachu, CEO of Pensaar; BarkhavDutt, Journalist and Author;Anurag Batra, Founder of Exchange4Media Group; DivyaSpandana, Chairperson of Social Media and Digital Communications, Congress (INC) to name a few.
Commenting on the program, Laurie Pearcey, Pro-Vice-Chancellor - International, UNSW said,“It is great that this series is being launched in India.
