Chandigarh, July 25, 2017: Bharatiya Janata Party has condoled the death of Former Congress MP Rajmata Mohinder Kaur, the mother of Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh.
Expressing deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Rajmata Mohinder Kaur, Tarun Chugh, the national secretary of the BJP said, the veteran parliamentarian both politically and socially remained dedicated to the welfare of Punjab and Punjabis.
"During her three tenures as Member of Parliament, she raised issues of Punjab and worked for the welfare of people of the state," he said adding that her contribution to her party and the state would be remembered with utmost respect.
Chugh said the Rajmata devoted her entire life to social and religious causes as well.
Conveying his heartfelt condolences to the Chief Minister, Chugh said the BJP shares the grief and sorrow of the family and pray to the almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
