PUBLIC NEEDS AWARENESS ON ELECTION LAWS

The Lawyers are indispensable part of the society and as such they have an obligation to spread the awareness amongst commons pertaining to their inalienable fundamental right to vote enabling the public to rekindle faith in their minds to cast a vote as a privilege and not obligation. As the integrity of its politics, the stability of its society, the development of its economy, flourishing of its culture and the contentment and well being of its people, all hind upon soundness of political system of a nation. Infact public needs awareness on electoral process and laws particularly in rural segments, at large to enlighten their respective right to vote as per norms enshrined in the Constitution of India. Infact Election Commission deserve applause for the stringent norms being adopted to ensure free and fair upcoming Assembly Election. For an effective mushrooming of democracy in upcoming elections, the entire election process should be impartial without any shadows of favoritism.
Infact the citizens have an enviable role in electing a political team on one side and on other side its equally important for them to attain the knowledge relating to the conduct of election rules, as per norms laid by the Election Commission, to ensure that malpractices and corrupt practices such as bribing, inducement, threat and intimidation to voters be prevented timely so that their invaluable right to vote may not be wasted for the sake of any greed or sheer pressure.
