Physique Tournament Held in CGC Jhanjeri

Sher Singh overall winner and excelled as Mr.Physique
Mohali, November 14, 2017: CGC Jhanjeri Organized an Inter-Department Best Physique tournament. As many as 36 Students took part in this event.In this tournament different weight categories including 50-55kg, 55-60kg, 60-65kg, 65-70kg, 70-75kg, 75-80kg 80-85kg were made.

The winners of 50-55kg Category was Shubham of CSE whereas 55-60kg Category winner was Yogi of Mech .In 60-65kg Category Dheeraj Saini of Mech excel While in 65-70kg Category Simranjeet Singh of CSE was declared winner .The last three categories were 70-75kg, 75-80kg and 80-85kg and the winners were Fuzail of Civil engineering ,Sher Singh of MECH & Aman of MECH Respectively .

Overall titled Mr.Physique was Sher Singh & Runner Up Dheeraj Saini. Chief Guest at the moment was Harvinder Honey Mr.North India and Ronny Mehta Mr.Himachal Presented the Trophies to the winners.

Speaking on the occasion, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that the college has provided separate gymnasiums for boys and girls which are equipped with latest accessories. The students use these gyms to maintain a good physique. Dr G.D Bansal, Director General said that such competitions encourage students to take up regular exercise to keep fit.
