PAU TO HOLD POLICY DIALOGUE ON AGRICULTURAL ECONOMY OF PUNJAB

Ludhiana, November 20, 2017: A policy dialogue on Agricultural Economy of Punjab, sponsored by the Punjab State Farmers Commission will be held at PAU’s Farmers Service Centre on 21st November, 2017. Dr Ramesh Chand, Member NITI Aayog, New Delhi will be the key note speaker of the day, while Shri Ajay Vir Jakhar, Chairman, Punjab State Farmers Commission will set the agenda for discussions. Eminent agricultural economist and Chancellor, Central University of Punjab Dr S.S. Johal, will preside over the day long deliberations. Dr Vijay Pal Sharma, Chairman, CACP will elaborate on Agricultural Price Policy and Diversification. Former Vice Chancellor, GADVASU, Dr V.K. Taneja will present Policy Interventions in Livestock Sector for Improving Rural Livelihood. The event will mark the presence of many other prominent dignitaries from the disciplines of economics and agriculture.
