NGOs must extend help for success of `sanjha chulha yojna': Khanna

Hoshiarpur, May 19, 2017: Indian Red Cross Sciety's nation vice chairman and BJP's national vice president Avinash Rai Khanna has lauded the District Red Cross Society for launching `sanjha chulha yojna' with the help of the Punjab government.
Needy people are made available food under the `sanjha chulha yojna'.

Further, Khanna appealed to all NGOs working for arranging `langars' to come forward in making this effort a further success.

Khanna was addressing to people in his office while redressing the grievances of people during `khula durbar'.
He said that Hoshiarpur was the city of Saints and thousands of `langars' were organised in this city of Saints every year. He added if these NGOs started giving its one day budget of `langer' for `sanjha chulha yojna' then the needy people would get their food on daily basis.

Khanna lauded the works being undertaken by Red Cross Society Hoshiarpur for cause of welfare of the society. He said the society was really rendering service to the suffering humanity. Citing an example, he told that the society had started providing dialsis service by signing an agreement with the private hospitals. Hundreds of needy patients had been benefitted with this facility, he said.

He said that District Red Cross Society used to work for the society irrespective of any caste, creed and religion. Therefore, people belonging to every section of the society must come forward to assist Red Cross Society in this noble cause.

Youth Development Board Punjab's ex senior vice chairman Sanjiv Talwar and others including Vijay Aggarwal, Rohit Sood Honey, Rimpa Sharma, Rakesh Sharma Pinki, BK sood, Daljeet Kumar Jeetu, Ravi Kumar, Rajesh Bahri, Sudhir Sharma, Nipun Sharma, SK Behl, Sarabjit Kumar, neeraj Sharma, Hoshiar Singh and Jasvir Singh were among those present.
