NCC cadets spend time with specially- abled, old inmates and young orphans

Jalandhar, December 3, 2017: At Kanya Maha Vidyalaya,-the Heritage and Autonomous institution, Jalandhar reaching to the under-privileged is a routine matter. The N.C.C unit of the college as a part of N.C.C. day celebrations visited the 'Pingla Ghar' of the city.
The N.C.C.cadets also accompanied by their classmates spent time with the specially- abled, the old inmates and young orphans. They carried gifts both in cash and kind for the inmates. it was an emotional moment for many young girl students who had never visited such a home before. Though they found their surroundings clean and basic food and medical needs taken care of their plight still moved many to tears. They vowed to visit again on birthdays and festivals to spread happiness in the lives of those who were less-fortunate.

Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi complimented the N.C.C. unit on the occasion for organizing a visit which would sensitize the youth towards the needs of the under-privileged and make them better human beings and citizens.
