MESSAGE ON EID-

“I have a lot of Muslim friends and Eid to me is all about trotting on an elaborate gastronomical trail throughout the day. Every year I go to a friend’s place and watch the entire family cook an elaborate feast.

By evening the house is filled with friends and relatives who swear by the mutton biriyani prepared by my friend’s mother. Since, I am a vegetarian aunty makes it a point to make the yummiest veg-biriyani on that day. Apart from the biriyani I also gorge on sewaiyaan and the famed sheer kurma.”
