Manoj Tiwari Emphasizes Fast Execution of Projects in Tourism & Hospitality Industry

New Delhi, September 13, 2017: Mr.Manoj Tiwari, Member Parliament, Delhi BJP President and Member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Tourism, today exhorted all stakeholders to execute all initiatives which either the Government or the Corporate Sector undertakes, to give a push to the Indian Tourism and Hospitality Industry. Mr Tiwari was giving his Valedictory Address at the PHDCCI’s 2nd National Competition for Budding Managers (NCBM) with the Theme: ‘Role of Education & Skill Development in Tourism & Hospitality Industry’ here.

As part of its endeavor, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry offers a series of events of national importance; several of these have created a critical mass of leadership in the management calendar of the country and are eagerly awaited by the Industry and academia. One such initiative is National Competition for Budding Managers (NCBM).

Mr Gopal Jiwarajka, President, PHDCCI, said that Competitions like these are an opportunity for the students and budding managers to meet eminent industrialists and entrepreneurs from various sectors, both at the national and international level and gain a chance to build a network and also to be inspired by their success.

This unique initiative taken by the PHD Tourism Committee is an endeavor to ensure that future budding managers of India have a chance for suitable placement with the tourism verticals across the Tourism & Hospitality industry. Hence, I request my industry friends to not only motivate and help, but also ensure placement opportunities for these budding managers.

“Honing managerial skills and developing dynamism is the need of the hour. This responsibility will be taken by our distinguished panel of judges judging this competition. We are indeed fortunate to have them with us today”, he added.

Mr Mukesh Gupta Chairman Tourism Committee, PHDCCI said Tourism is a major engine of economic growth in most parts of the world. Several countries have transformed their economies using the tourism potential to the fullest. Tourism has great capacity to create large scale employment of diverse kind– from the most specialized to the unskilled and all of us know that generation of massive productive employment opportunities is what India needs the most.

Tourism industry is going to be the next powerful employment generation in India. Young brigade of the Tourism Institutes will add more professional services to the tourism industry.
