Khalsa College Teacher Gets Major Project in Biotechnology

Jalandhar, January 17, 2015: Dr Gurpreet Singh Assistant Professor of Biotechnology of Lyallpur Khalsa College has been awarded a major research project titled Studies on the effect of fungicides on the metabolic profiling on different stages of development in chickpea with a financial assistance of Rs.13.38 lacs by the UGC.  This information was given by the College Principal Dr. G.S. Samra in a press release today who informed that the main focus of his research will be on finding out the effect of various fungicides on the various stages of development in desi and kabuli chickpea (black gram or Chane). The president of the College Management Balbir Kaur congratulated Dr. Gurpreet Singh on this achievement and assured him of all possible help and support in his endaevours.
