Ludhiana, May 5, 2017: Ludhiana based Prof.Kamal Chopra is invited to deliver Key-note Address during 49th International Circle of Educational Institutes for Graphic Arts Technology and Management (IC). It is for the first time ever that city printer is invited for such a honour.

The 49th IC conference is going to be held at Beijing, China on 14 and 15 May, 2017. IC is international body representing 27 countries and is the apex body of Graphic Art institutions worldwide. It is honour that an Indian is invited for the key-note address for this prestigious international conference.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Kamal Chopra said, his aim is promotion of printing which is one branch of Graphic Arts. He said no one can live without printing, he will be speaking on packaging design during this conference. He said, Packaging is an emerging science, an emerging engineering discipline, and a success contributor to most of the industries. Apart from the huge value addition and employment involved in these activities, packaging has served the world economy by helping preservation of the quality and lengthening the shelf life of innumerable products, ranging from milk and biscuits, to drugs and medicines, processed and semi-processed foods, fruits and vegetables, edible oils, electronic goods etc., besides domestic appliances and industrial machinery and other hardware needing transportation.

Prof. Chopra who will be leaving for China on 7th May to attend this conference added that India is emerging in printing and with little efforts it is possible to convert India as the hub for the global outsourced printing and packaging jobs.
