Jalandhar, June 21, 2017: In an endeavour to participate actively in the International Yoga Day, Innocent Hearts School organised Yoga Session in the school premises. Notwithstanding the fact that the school is observing summer vacation, members of the Management, staff, parents and students took part in the session. The Director Principal - Mr. Dheeraj Banati educated the students on the importance of yoga. They were explained that yoga helps in maintaining not only physical and mental health but also a healthy social life also. The yoga Instructor taught the technique to do pranayms- kapalbhati, Anulom Vilom , Brahmri etc. which are the gifts of sages. He also mentioned that yog helps to control Mind and thoughts and fill us with positivity. These pranayams help in meditation also. The session ended with Laughter Yoga and Clapping Hands. The Yoga Teacher explained that laughing aloud increases the pace of blood circulation in lungs and eliminates many problems of body and Clapping hands are directly based upon the working of acupressure theory. There are Acupressure points for almost all organs on our palms which are activated by clapping and this action improves health slowly but effectively. He mentioned that we should do it daily for our well being.
