IKG PTU will conduct centralized online counselling for AICTE Courses

Three Universities are participating in counselling 2017-18
Jalandhar, May 18, 2017: I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University is authority competent to conduct centralized online counselling for three of state Universities. These counselling seat matrixes will applicable courses running in the colleges affiliated to participating universities/main campuses of these Universities and constituent/regional campuses. Participating Universities are I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University Jalandhar, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda and Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. For PAU, University will conduct counselling only for B.Tech. 1st Year on the basis of JEE main.

The various AICTE Courses in counselling are B.Tech. 1st Year (Alongwith Fee Waiver), B.Tech. 2nd Year (Lateral Entry) (Alongwith Fee Waiver), B.Pharmacy 1st Year (alongwith Fee Waiver), B.Pharmacy 2nd Year (Lateral Entry) (alongwith Fee Waiver), B.Architecture, MBA, MCA 1st Year, MCA 2nd Year (Lateral Entry), M.Tech. (Full Time), and M.Pharmacy.

The spokesperson of IKG PTU clarifies that admissions to UGC (Non-AICTE) courses will be done directly by the affiliated colleges on merit basis. The courses in various stream of UGC (Non-AICTE) are B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., BMS, BBA, BCA, M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., Master of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, MMS, P.G. Diplomas. Candidates have to deposit the Counselling Fee of Rs. 2,000 which is Non Refundable, before the last date which is May 29, 2017, to participate in centralized online counselling.
