Himachal CM Virbhadra Singh celebrates his 84th Birthday at his private residence

Shimla, June 23, 2017: As Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh celebrated his 84th Birthday at his private residence Holly lodge today, people from all walks of life and from all corners of the State gathered in thousands to convey birthday wishes to their charismatic leader. The Chief Minister along with his wife, Rani Pratibha Singh and Son Shri Vikramaditya Singh sliced the cake with other well wishers and prominent citizens of the town.

Chief Minister was also made to perform the traditional folk dance ‘Nati’with his family members and others. He said that he was lucky enough to have served the people of the State from last 55 years, since he entered politics. He said that he crossed many political hurdles and many ups and downs in his long political career and the pleasure one feels to cut across these obstacles was far beyond words and explanation, adding that one has to struggle to achieve success.

The Chief Minster said that it was the love and people of the State which motivated him to face all hurdles in his political career, despite all odds, adding that for him life was a struggle and he loves overcoming the same. Never throughout history has a man who lived a life of ease left a name worth remembering, he said, adding that life teaches at every step and the person should learn from it.
