HERO DMC CONDUCT FREE HEART CHECKUP CAMP AT HAIBOWAL

Ludhiana, June 18, 2017: Hero DMC Heart Institute hold a mega Heart Check Camp on sunday (18 june 2017) at Bridh Ashram, waddi haibowal Ludhiana. which is organise by Youth sports club (regd) Ludhiana. Senior Cardiologist of Hero DMC heart institute, Dr.Naved Aslam & Dr. Manbir Singh (DM-Resident) examined the patients during the camp.

Around 220 patients were examined during the camp. Along with the required medical advice, free Blood Pressure , Random blood sugar and ECG was done and free medicine has been provided to all the patients who had come to get free medical check-up in the camp.

Heart diseases are increasing at an alarming rate in the urban centres. It is being said to be the biggest killer in India replacing the communicable diseases. Increased use of tobacco and rise in the cases of diabetes has made Indians prone to coronary diseases. People need to be educated about the need for regular heart check-up to take preventive measures.” said Dr. Naved Aslam, Senior Cardiologist, Hero DMC Heart Institute.

A diet counselling was also done by Dt. Pardeep kaur of HDHI during the camp , according to patient disease condition and patients were advised to follow prescribed diet routine to keep their heart healthy and to live a healthy lifestyle.

Members of organising club said that the main purpose of camp was to bring awareness on heart ailments besides providing them prevention and treatment tips for healthy life.

At the end of the camp token of appreciation were distributed to all members of HDHI who were participated in the camp.
