Government of Nepal invites a delegation of FICO in SAARC Cultural Co- Relation Conference

Ludhiana, July 1, 2017: Today, Shri Mahaveer Parsad Tordi, Advisor to Deputy President, Government of Nepal visited FICO Office here and interacted with office-bearers and members of FICO. There is a great potential in bi-lateral trade between India and Nepal. Ludhiana is a huge manufacturer of bicycles, sewing machines, hosiery and textile items, and there is a great demand of these goods in Nepal.

Shri Tordi invited a delegation of FICO to visit Nepal to meet President and Deputy President of Nepal and find business opportunities and work for the development of Nepal. He said that India has always stood by Nepal in every good and bad situation Nepal has ever gone through. He added that 42% of Nepal’s total import comes from India. He said India has played an important role in increasing business in Nepal and has always worked for the betterment of Nepal, now also there is a need for India to stand by Nepal and help in developing their nation. Industrialist will be provided the best security they need, if they set up an industrial unit in Nepal.
