Dharamshala, June 27, 2017: Members of Himachal and Punjab Gorkha Association including a large number of ladies, paraded peacefully in the streets of Dharamshala today to give support of Gorkha movement of Darjeeling Hills.
A meeting of the association was also conducted in War Memorial of the city.
The president of the association Ravinder Singh Rana said, “The West Bengal government is introducing Bengali Language in Darjeeling hills forcefully, which is not accepted by Gorkha community. "
The association also handed a memorandum to the DC at Dharamshala in this regard.
