Pune, November 24, 2016: Seven lucky couples from Pune had the time of their lives as they soared the skies with an exclusive chopper ride that was facilitated by Bengaluru-based Frogo on 19th November 2016. The chopper ride was followed by a sumptuous brunch at the Vivanta by Taj, Pune.

The experience and activities platform, Frogo, partnered with Uber to drive this campaign. Proceeds of the campaign would be donated to the children’s welfare NGO, CRY - Child Rights and You as a part of the Children’s Day celebration. To register, users had to request a ride in the special in-app ‘UberCHOPPER’ view which was similar to booking a regular Uber. The money raised towards this cause was donated to CRY today.

Talking about the social initiative, Manoj Agarwal, Co-Founder, Frogo, said, “We are very happy with the feedback we have received through the initiative. It has been a privilege for us to have worked with brands like Uber and CRY and to be a part of a social initiative that is helping make lives better.”

Speaking about the same, Sanil Bhatia, General Manager, Uber Pune, said, “We are excited to bring back UberCHOPPER in Pune and give some of our lucky riders a chance to see Pune like never before. We are happy to partner with Frogo in this initiative, and donate proceeds from UberCHOPPER to CRY.”

When asked about their experience, participants, Mughdha and Rachna said, “Regular people don't book chopper rides in their daily schedules, Frogo and Uber just took it to another level with this opportunity. The aerial view of the city and the experience was just spell-binding, both of us were in awe the entire time.”
