Ludhiana, December 15, 2017: To welcome the new batch of B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc Nursing students and NPCC students, a Fresher’s Party “Roobaroo 2017” was organized by DMCH College of Nursing today at Dumra Auditorium.
The programme started with ‘Swaggy Dance’ welcome by B.Sc Nursing of (Final) year. Principal of College of Nursing, Dr Mrs Triza Jiwan welcomed the chief guest-Sh Prem Kumar Gupta (Secretary of DMCH Managing Society) and Guest of Honour- Smt Sunila Gupta along with other dignitaries, faculty, staff and students as well.
In her address, Principal Triza Jiwan motivated the students to take their humble profession with utmost dedication and sincerity. She mentioned that nursing profession requires utmost commitment and dedication to become competent and efficient nurses.
Fresher Nursing students participated in ‘Ms. And Mr Fresher’s Contest’. Ms. Jashandeep Kaur and Mr Piyush were crowned as Ms. & Mr. Frseher respectively. Sh Prem Kumar Gupta crowned the winners. First and second runner up in the fashion show segment were Ms. Anjali & Kirandeep Kaur and Mr Abhijeet & Karan respectively
The students entertained the audience in the form by presenting colorful cultural and western dances on scintillating choreography.
