Free Eye Check-up

Ludhiana, October 13, 2012: Eyeca Eye Hospital today organised free eye check-up camp at ITI, Ludhiana where both the teachers and students were examined for any sort of eye ailment.

The doctors, present on the occasion, made the students and teachers aware about various aspects of eye donation and also informed them about various causes of eye injuries.

Principal of ITI  Baljinder Singhhas thanked the team of doctors for organizing free eye check-up camp and making the students and faculty aware about various measures to be adopted for keeping healthy eye.

While elaborating about the measures to be adopted for keeping eye healthy , doctors deliberated on the regularly checking-up of eyes. They advised the students that reading should always be done in adequate light and any reading material should be hold at least 40 cms away from the eyes. For those who work on the computers for long hours, use of antiglare coated lens was prescribed. It is recommended that the monitor should be kept at arm's length. The user needs to take frequent break blink several times, while working on the computer because it gives required relaxation to the eyes.
