Dharamshala, April 3, 2017: After the first ever Test Cricket Match at the beautiful Stadium in Dharamshala India in March 2017, now Bollywood Actor Bobby Deol will lead a cricket team full of Bollywood celebrities (male and female), against a team of Indian Parliamentarians lead by the former BCCI President Anurag Thakur to play T 20 cricket at HPCA Stadium at Dharamshala. Bollywood celebrities like Suniel Shetty, Sohail Khan, Jimmy Shergill and Sonu Sood have confirmed their presence.

This was disclosed in a press release of Anurag Thakur stating that Parliamentarians and Bollywood actors will be playing a charity cricket match on April 8 to spread awareness on tuberculosis.

It will be a two-day affair where the Mumbai Heroes and Members of Parliament XI will play a T20 game of cricket.

The TB-Free India Summit and India vs TB cricket tournament is being organised under the initiative of Call to Action for a TB-Free India.

It aims to bring top government officials and members of Parliament together with film celebrities to raise awareness among key stakeholders and audience on tuberculosis and build the momentum to eradicate the disease from India by 2025.

The event will provide a platform for TB experts, scientists, patients, doctors, and government representatives to suggest strategies for fast-tracking TB Control efforts.

Some of the speakers and participants at the summit will include Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare J.P. Nadda, and members of Parliament Manoj Tiwari, Rajiv Shukla, Babul Supriyo and Nishikant Dubey and others.

The match shall be telecast live by Doordarshan Sports from 4 Pm on 8th April onwards from HPCA Stadium Dharamshala.
