Excellent Performance of RGC Girls in Road Cycling & Judo &Wrestling Championships

Ludhiana, October 23, 2017: Ramgarhia Girls College Miller Ganj, Ludhiana once again claimed P.U. Inter College Road Cycling Championship. This is the third time when college clinched this championship by bagging 4 Gold and 1 Bronze medal.
Pooja, Proneeti and Neha added another feather of glory in the cap of RGC by securing 3 Gold, 1 Gold and 1 Bronze medal respectively. College team of Judo secured overall 2nd position in P.U. Inter College Judo Championship. In this Padma got 1 Gold medal, Sukhvir, Tanya and Geeta bagged Silver medals whereas Anjali , Kawanpreet and Kaushal won Bronze medals. Along with these glorious victories college team also participated in P.U. Inter College Wrestling Championship, in which Padma and Tanuja got Bronze medals in underweight category.
Principal Dr. Inderjit Kaur appreciated the efforts of Prof. Rajeshwarpal Kaur, Head of Physical Education Department and Prof. Jasbir Kaur by giving them credit of these victories. She also added that their hard labour is contributing in bringing laurels to the college.
S. Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council congratulated Cycling Coach S.Satwinder Singh and Judo Coach Sh. Parveen Thakur for providing fruitful guidance.
