THE EUROPEAN CHARITY CARNIVAL COMES TO MACAO THIS DECEMBER

~ Taipa Village Cultural Association proudly presents “European Charity Carnival” this December 3-11, 2016 ~
Mumbai, December 5, 2016: This winter, one of the greatest, most anticipated, attractions, “The European Charity Carnival” is being held in Macao, December 3rd -11th , 2016.Organized by the Taipa Village Cultural Association, the “European Charity Carnival” aims to preserve and enrich the unique cultural and historic beauty of Taipa Village district, while raising charity funds to support the Salvation Army’s efforts to help less fortunate members of the community in Macao during the festive season. The event also aims to to draw traffic and visitations to the destination through a series of leisure activities, as well cementing the position of Taipa Village as a distinctive community that benefits the entire city and contributes to the sustainability of non-gaming tourism in Macao.

With free admissions, the carnival kick-starts this December from 14:00 – 21:00 at the Carmo Fair, Cunha Street, the Ruins of the Old Taipa Market next to Mok Yei Kei Dessert. Voucher Selling Mechanism features transactions with event vouchers which can be purchased in the voucher booth located in Carmo Fair itself. The denomination of the voucher features MOP 10, 20, 50.

The “European Charity Carnival” will showcase an array of European food flair ranging from specialty coffee, Provence tea and organic food, Belgium waffles, fine wines and delicacies from European countries, in addition to traditional Portuguese products including canned sardines, bacalhau, sausage, olive oil and more.

Soak into the carnival fun with astounding live performance and interactive streetmosphere, consisting of facial painting, balloon twisting, close-up magic, exotic live band, accordion music, Flamingo dance and photo zone.

To contribute to the community with joint-efforts, general public can enjoy signature gourmet at designated merchants in Taipa Village by presenting the discount coupons embedded in the event voucher set . The merchants will donate MOP$10 for every redeemed discount coupon!

Entertainment & Performance on December 3, 2016 from 2pm to 6.35pm, features Face Painting, Portuguese Duo Band, Acordion Solo, Balloon, Twisting, Spanish Flamingo Dance, Acordion Solo and Spanish Flamingo Dance. Entertainment & Performance on December 4, 2016 from 2pm to 6.20 pm includes Face Painting, Magician, Acordion Solo, Spanish Flamingo Dance, Portuguese Duo Band, Balloon Twisting, Acordion Solo and Spanish Flamingo Dance.

December 10, 2016, from 3 pm to 7.30 pm, the Entertainment & Performance involves Acordion Solo, Spanish Flamingo Dance, Balloon Twisting, Acordion Solo, Spanish Flamingo Dance, Portuguese Duo Band and Acordion Solo. On December 11, 2016 from 2 pm to 7 pm, the Entertainment & Performance features Face Painting, Magician, Acordion Solo, Spanish Flamingo Dance, Balloon Twisting, Portuguese Duo Band, Acordion Solo, Spanish Flamingo Dance and Acordion Solo.
