DISBURSAL OF COMPENSATION FOR ACQUIRED LAND FOR LADOWAL BYEPASS STARTS

LAND OWNER CAN COLLECT DUE PAYMENT FROM SDM LDH (W) OFFICE BEFORE AUGUST 5
Ludhiana, July 24, 2017: Disbursal of compensation of land acquired for Ladowal byepass has been started by district administration. Sub Divisional Magistrate Ludhiana (West) Mr. Damanjit Singh Mann said that to develop this byepass, land was acquired from farmers/residents of villages Jhhamat, Ayali Khurd, Malikpur, Jainpur, Bagga Kalan, Chaharh, Aalowal, Sohle, Mannewal, Goindwal. Compensation amount of land has been received from government and they have started disbursal to the land owners, added SDM

He said that the land owner whose land was acquired could collect their due payment from the office of SDM before august 5, 2017. After this date pending amount will be deposited in court. Moreover, Notification for transfer of land to National Highway Authority of India has been issued and ownership of land has been changed under the article-3 d of act. Now, the land owner cannot further sell, mortgage or use the land for any purpose.
