Sh.Ashish Chaudhry IPS, DIG Bathinda range was guest in a Live Radio Show at All India Radio (FM) Bathinda. During 1 hour programme Sh.Chaudhry replied all the questions ranging from Traffic management to maintenance of Law & Order.
While narrating the steps taken by the Police he asserted that the proposal to rationalize the jurisdictions of Police Stations in the range has already forwarded to the department of Home, Government of Punjab, the police officials are being imparted training to deal with Cyber Crimes and night police patrolling is being strengthened in the rural areas.
While replying a question, Sh.Chaudhry told that only 14 CCTV cameras (connected to Police Headquarter) have been installed by the Bathinda Police in the city which are not sufficient and claimed that he has been doing his best to procure funds to cover the entire city.
In this show the listeners also participated through telephone calls and shared their grievances and suggestions. Most of the complaints of listeners were pertaining to the Traffic management. Most of the callers were appreciative of the District Police on account of enhanced Police patrolling in Bathinda city.
Sh.Ashish Chaudhry sought the cooperation of the common people to contain all types of crimes and asserted that he has been doing his best to establish healthy Police-Public relations.
