Corporate Exploit The Natural Resources For Their Own Benefit And Profit: Com Var Vara Rao

_{Ludhiana, April 25, 2015: Shaheed Bhagat Singh Vichar Manch organised Convention on Corporate Model of Development Verses People. The convention was addressed by Com Var Vara Rao a renowned revolutionary Telgu Poet and an eminent political thinker. In his impressive speech he illucidated that post 1947 such a development model was adopted that it helped richer class to grow richer and poor class to shrink in poverty. This gave birth to a Desi corporate houses which longed to hand shake with international Corporate. So in 1990 under the direction of Imperialism through its world institutes the policy under the name Globalisation, Privatisation and Liberalisation was imposed. This policy is to help the Corporate exploit the natural resources for their own benefit and profit. This exploitation is illumined under the garb of GDP growth. This policy is actual a model of corporate growth and has resulted in large displacements, destruction of environment and loss of livelihood. This model is threatening the basic life thread by   poising the natural resources. Com Var Vara Rao explained that because of these forms is not only anti people but also anti national. Post 1990 this policy has resulted in a manifold increase of the exploitation of labour classes in India and loss and destruction of natural resources. The people in general as well as tribal people in particularly had organised themselves to protect their natural resources and life sustaining. The government response instead of resolving the problem of people in general and tribals in particular the use of ruthless suppression   through military and police. The people are forced to be up in arms to protect their life with right to water, land, jungle and natural resources. Whoever comes to support them are suppressed in the name of terrorism and are attached with full anti constitutional measure under its garb.}

_{The NDA government particularly under BJP leadership has come out blatantly with policy on one hand in support of Corporate and on other hand has come up with social suppression through its fascist face of Hindu Communal forces and releasing such agenda in the name of  love jihad, conversion, anti minority and enmass effort to make myth a history. The whole approach of brain control through saffronising of education and social repression is fascist face to support corporate interest.The divisive forces are to weaken the united people resistance.}

_{Com Var vara Rao informed that alternative model which people centric development model is coming up in large areas where self help people movements are solving their problems of growth and are taking over protection of natural resources. These areas have registered significant development in the field of education, health and security of livelihood. People very strongly organised against corporate and other exploitive forces.}

_{Prof Jagmohan Singh in his presidential remarks reminded that Shaheed Bhagat Singh redefined the concept of freedom by stating that until Imperialism policies of exploitation are ended with, the freedom of masses is not possible. Shaheed Bhagat Singh also educated us the   growth of communal and backward forces tells us that human progress is impaired and for human progress these forces must be socially fought with. The people centric agenda can be strengthened with Bhagat Singh’s revolutionary vision.}

_{The convention resolved that It strongly condemn the brutal misuse of Laws like UAPA under the garb of which Delhi University Professor Sai Baba is put the dungeon of jail for over a year without trial. He is physically challenged but is a strong intellectual. It is demanded that he be immediately released.}

_{The jungle raj of Andhra Pradesh was strongly condemned where 20 labourers have been abducted and cold bloodly killed and similarly in Telangana state 5 undertrials have been killed while in police custody. The convention demanded that judicial enquiry be immediately done and guilty police d force be punished. Further called that this jungle raj must be assured to be ended.}

_{The convention further condemned  that Punjab government is bungling with scholarship meant for SC /ST instead of helping the students, the police has brutally attached even the girl students  and demanded that the guilty policemen be punished and the students be assured of their rights.}

_{It was further resolved that the justice be assured to the struggling workers, employees, students and other section by resolving their problems.}
