Chandigarh, January 11, 2013: The Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today condoled the sad demise of Lord Tarsem Singh Member of House of Lords, Parliament of UK.
In a condolence message Badal said that Lord Tarsem Singh was deeply attached with his Punjabi background. He said that Lord Tarsem Singh had also served as the Mayor of West Browmich (UK).
Badal said that due to the efforts of Lord Tarsem Singh Sri Amristar Sahib become the sister city of UK'S West Browmich city.
In a separate condolence message, Sukhbir Singh Badal Deputy Chief Minister , Bikram Singh Majithia Revenue Minister and Dr. Charanjit Singh Atwal, Speaker, Punjab Vidhan Sabha have also condoled the sad demise of Lord Tarsem Singh.
They have expressed heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty to give piece to the departed soul and strength to family to bear this irreparable loss.
