Civil Surgeon inaugurates Ortho treatment OPD

Ferozepur, October 13, 2012: On the demand  of NGOs and for the convenience of the public for follow up of accident treatment, joint replacement,plastic, cosmetic and burns surgery, OPD of Amandeep Hospital Amritsar  
in Frances Newton Hospital Ferozepur Cantt. was inaugurated today by  Civil Surgeon Ferozepur Dr. Jasbur Singh Minhas.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Richard David, Director, Frances Newton Hospital (Mission Hospital), 118 years old institution,  welcomed the chief guests, NGOs, citizens and thanked Amandeep Hospital for starting OPD in their hospital for ortho medical services.
K. S. Goraya, manager of Amandeep Hospital Amritsar highlighted the achievements and services of the hospital. He further said that on the demand of NGOs, OPD at Ferozepur has been started which will work on  second and fourth Saturday of every month from 9.30 AM to 1.30 PM. He  also said for follow up and ortho treatment required in hospital at  Amritsar free Ambulance is available at Ferozepur. The hospital has already provided two highway patrolling vehicles to drop the accident  
victim persons to the nearest hospital, he added.
Abhishek Arora, an active NGO, on this occasion appreciated the services being rendered by the doctor's community to the mankind and thanked the Amandeep Hospital authorities for opening of OPD at
Ferozepur.
At the inaugural ceremony, Dr. Awtar Singh, Bones and Joint replacement  expert and Medical Director Dr. Amandeep Kaur, plastic Surgery expert
Dr. Harish Gilldyal, Dr. Richard David Director Mission Hospital,  Pawan Giddeon, Administrator, Dr.Taryn Grocer, Dr.Madu Prashar, principal Dev Samaj College for Women, active social worker Abhishek Arora and representatives of various NGOs were present.
