CICU Organised Programme on Waste Minimisation through Lean Manufacturing Tools

Ludhiana, February 14, 2017: Sh.Avatar Singh President & Sh.Upkar Singh Ahuja, General Secretary, CICU in the joint Statement said that CICU has organised Programme on Waste Minimisation through Lean Manufacturing Tools in Association with National Productivity Council Chandigarh.

The Programme was inaugurated by Sh.G.Saravanan, Regional Director NPC Chandigarh. he said that National Productivity Council is celebrating waste Minimisation weak in all over the India to motivate the MSME’s for adopting the Lean Manufacturing Tools & Techniques. He said that these techniques are helpfull in reducing the Cost of Production and Increasing the Profitability of the Industrial Units.

Sh. S.P. Singh Deputy Director NPC informed the theme of the programme and said how this can be fruitful beneficial by the group of the implements lean manufacturing tools where govt. providing subsidy for this programme.

Sh. Ankur Pathak, Assistant Director MSME-DI, Govt. of India said that 80% subsidy is available to a group of 8 to 10 industrial units. He appealed to the gathering to create group for their sustainable development.

Sh. S.B Singh, Consultant NPC presented the presentation on the 5S, KANBAN, KAIZEN and other tools which can be implemented for reducing the wastage of the unit.

Sh. Vinod Duggal, Environment Consultant of Patiala, also presented the details and informed how the environment can eco friendly by using the tools of the Lean manufacturing.

Sh. S.S. Bedi, advisor of CICU addressed the gathering and informed that lean manufacturing tools are really effective in reduction of cost of production, improving productivity. He said that over production, over inventory are harmful if these are not maintained properly. He also presented the vote of thanks to the dignitaries and gathering.
