Discusses the role & potential of technology in enabling skill development among the youth
Chennai, September 22, 2017: Chief Minister of Delhi Shri Arvind Kejriwal visited Skillveri premises during his visit to Chennai yesterday. Shri Kejriwal discussed the role & potential of technology in enabling skill development among the youth with the Skillveri team. Backed by venture capital firms Michael & Susan Dell Foundation and Ankur Capital, Skillveri aims to address India’s skill gap through its simulators.

During his visit, Skillveri team briefed Shri. Kejriwal about the company’s innovative simulators and its applications and led him through a detailed demonstration of Aura series of welding simulators, Chroma series of painting simulators (which recently won an award from NACE International CORCON in Mumbai) and veriSpray for painter skill assessment developed in-house. The team explained how the simulators would play a key role in upskilling youth across sectors through vocational training institutes in the country.

Skillveri enables better quality delivery of practical vocational skill training at significantly lesser costs through its innovative, scalable platform of multi-skill simulators. Skillveri has most widely installed simulator in the welding domain that trains low-income youth with high-quality manufacturing skills, especially in ITI’s. Recently, Skillveri has been chosen to be a part of PM’s Champions of Change program, as a member of the Education & Skill Development task force.
