CBI laid a trap and the In-charge of Out Post RPF, Vidisha Railway Station was caught red handed while demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs.5000 from the complainant. Searches were carried out at the office and the residential premises of accused person which led to recovery of documents.
New Delhi, October 10, 2014: The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Sub Inspector / Incharge, Outpost of Railway Protection Force (RPF), Vidisha Railway Station, Vidisha (Madhya Pradesh) for demanding & accepting a bribe of Rs.5000 from the Complainant.
A case was registered on the basis of complaint received from a Vendor of Milk Booth at Railway Station, Vidisha against Incharge, Out Post of RPF, Vidisha Railway Station, Vidisha (Madhya Pradesh) wherein it was alleged that the said Incharge had demanded a bribe of Rs.5000 for allowing him to run his milk booth at Railway Station, Vidisha in hassle free manner.

The arrested accused is being produced today in the Court of Special Judge, CBI Cases, at Bhopal.
