New Delhi, April 14, 2014: The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested its Cashier posted at ACB, Kolkata for alleged cheating and misappropriation of government money to the tune of Rs.45 Lakhs (approx).
A case was registered against a Cashier posted at ACB, CBI, Kolkata alleging cheating & misappropriation of government. money to the tune of Rs.45 lakhs (approx) through falsification of accounts etc. Searches have been conducted at the premises of accused. Certain amount of misappropriated money have been traced/recovered in the form of movable & immovable properties purchased by the accused; his bank balances & investments.
The arrested accused is being produced today in the Designated Court at Kolkata.
