WISHES HIM FOR SPEEDY RECOVERY
Chandigarh, May 16, 2017: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh today announced financial assistance of Rs.2 lakh for eminent Punjabi playwright and litterateur Ajmer Aulakh, who was critically suffering from cancer.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of Chief Minister's Office said that Mr.Aulakh was battling with cancer for past over few years. Captain Amarinder asked his Principal Secretary to immediately release this amount from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
Meanwhile, Captain Amarinder Singh also wished him speedy recovery.
Pertinently, the noted Punjabi theatre personality Ajmer Singh Aulakh dedicated his entire life for the promotion of theatre and his rare literary works mostly highlighted the circumstances, tiring situations and hardships faced by the oppressed sections of the society.
