INAUGURATES TRAINING CUM COMPUTER CENTER AT VILLAGE KHERA
Ludhiana: The Lok Sabha MP Mr.Ravneet Singh Bittu on Monday inaugurated a training cum computer center was in the village Khera of Gill assembly segment, which has been selected by the Government of India (GoI) under Prime Minister Kaushal Vikas Yojna.

Addressing the gathering, the Lok Sabha MP said that with the changing times the need of the hour was to imparting skill training to youth of the state. He said that earlier with one family in government job and another carrying out allied farming activities the survival of family was possible. However, he said that now it was totally impossible.

The MP said that the country was confronting major problems of unemployment and poverty, which could be resolved by imparting quality skill training to the youth. Terming the skill training as the only mantra for poverty alleviation in the country, he said that this could open new avenues of employment for the youth, which was the need of hour. Mr. Bittu said that this was only possible if such institutions, with the support of government, were set up to impart skill training to the youth.

The MP said that imparting skill training to the youth was the need of hour to make them gainfully self employed on one hand and to create a pool of skilled manpower to cope up with the needs of the local industry on the other. He said that Skill Development was an issue of great importance for the country and its economy and for the future of our youth adding that it was the need of hour to impart skill training to each and every youth of the country.

On the occasion MLA Mr. Kuldeep Singh Vaid was also present.
