Basant Panchmi Celebration held at G.N. Holy Heart public smart school, Mauli Chandigarh

Chandigarh, February 9, 2019: G.N.Holy Heart Public Smart School, Mauli Chandigarh withnessed a colorful and vibrant Basant Panchami celebration. The kids came decked up in yellow attire and also brought yellow colored food in their Tiffin. A kite making competition was also held. Students made beautiful kites on the occasion. Whole school assembled together to pray and attain blessing from goddess saraswati to reach the epitome of knowledge. The pooja started with Sarasatti vandana. In the end, children offered yellow flowers to goddess Saraswati. Mrs Jaswinder Kaur Sarwana, Principal, GN Holy Heart Public (Smart) School, said, “Children get an exposure to our culture and heritage through such programmes. Students had a good time during the function.”
