Fafre Bhaike (Mansa), February  13, 2014: The Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal today said that the first of its kind Agricultural Summit to be held at Mohali from February 16 to 19 would set the stage for Second Green Revolution in the Punjab as the farmers would be able to attain ultra modern technology, new Agricultural techniques and much needed guidance from the expert of all over the world.
Today talking to media persons during the sangat darshan at village Fafre Bhaike, Badal said that after the grand success of Progressive Punjab Summit, the Punjab Government has decided to organise this summit to give a new push to agricultural sector which has reached to the saturation point. He said that technical experts and Agri Experts and Scientists from more than 20 countries would share the stage during the summit to chalk out the plan for next green revolution in Punjab by adopting the crop diversification.    
Replying to the question about the statements of Captain Amrinder Singh and PPCC president Partap Singh Bajwa, the Deputy Chief Minister said that “they are only fighting for the captaincy of the PPCC by indulging in number game in front of Rahul Gandhi”. He said that “ if Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal had any compromise on the Blue star than why congress has put him behind bars for 17 years” . Calling captain the biggest liar, Badal said that “why he has not utter any word about the whole incident in last 30 years”.
Terming the rail budget as the last budget of the UPA government Badal said that people has made their mind to wipe out the most corrupt and inefficient   congress led UPA government.  Talking about the announcement of SAD-BJP candidates for Lok sabha elections, Badal said that as the elections would be announced by the Election Commission of India, Akali Dal would be the first party to announce the names of candidates.
On being asked the coalition of PPP and AAP in lok sabha elections in Punjab, Mr Badal said that zero + Zero would always remain Zero as both these parties have no effect in Punjab and if even they would come together, it would not affect the prospect of SAD-BJP.
Calling upon the Akali Dal leaders  , workers to shun the differences to eliminate the anti Punjab forces in Lok Sabha elections, Badal said that Akali Dal was the second oldest party of the country which was emerged from the long struggle and it has no match.
Badal has  also announced that Punjab Government has decided to release the tubewell connections to all applicants till 2013 in next 6 months. Terming new Atta-Dal scheme as the life line of poor class  in the high inflation scenario, Badal said that Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal would formally launch the new scheme from March first.
Earlier, Badal has laid down the foundation stone and inauguration of  development works worth Rs  67 crore in Mansa district, which included inauguration of new building of Police Station and foundation stone of road construction of Mansa-Talwandi Sabo road  worth Rs 40 crore and PUDA colony with the cost of Rs 25 crore.  //punjab news live, punjab news online, punjab news, punjab news headlines, punjab breaking news, india news, punjab news, world news,
