Ferozepur, October 3, 2012: The sleuths of Border Security Force, Ferozeur of 80 Battalion have arrested seven smugglers with 3 Kg heroine of the value of Rs.15 crore in the Internation market.
Giving the details, DIG, KPS Rana (Retd. Brig.) of Border Security Force, Ferozepur, informed that BSF 80 Battalion have arrested seven smugglers on Indo-Pak international border in the area of BOP Mianwala, who were coming with 3 Kg heroin consignment sent by the Pakistani smugglers.
He further stated that in the area of BOP Mianwala, on Tuesday afternoon, on search 3 Kg heroine was recovered from these Indian smugglers when they were allegedly bringing the packets thrown by the Pakistani smugglers towards Indian side.
DIG Rana said, the value of the heroin recovered is Rs.15 crore in the international market and BSF is making further enquiry from the arrested smugglers.
