500 NCC Cadets of 3 Punjab BN NCC attending Combined Annual Training Camp at GNDEC

Ludhiana: 500 NCC Cadets of 3 Punjab BN NCC are attending Combined Annual Training Camp at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana wef 13 Jun 2016 to 22 Jun 2016. These cadets have come from all the affiliated institutions of the battalion located in and around Ludhiana.
The aim of this Camp is to acquaint the Cadets with Military Training, Inculcate leadership Qualities and also to explore their potential. The Commanding Officer of the Battalion Col Rajeev Bagga and Training Officer Capt Akansha Pande told us that NCC being the largest uniformed force takes pride in various social and community development activities.
The cadets are imparted training on various subjects like Drill, Weapon Training, Map Reading and are also getting live experience to fire from weapon.
The cadets are also attending Personality Development and grooming session and building confidence through various interactive sessions.
This Camp provides them an opportunity to explore their talent, chisel their skills through conduct of plethora of competitions like Cultural, Debate, Extempore Sports and Firing Drill for their all-round development.
