30 students of CT Group of Institutions shortlisted by Open Text and TNS during Campus Placement Drive

Jalandhar, December 16, 2014: Canada's largest software company, Open Text Corporation and a private telecom company Telecom Network Solutions (TNS) conducted Campus Placement Drives at Shahpur Campus of CT Group of Institutions for the recruitment of B.Tech (CSE/IT/ECE/EE/EEE) students. As many as 30 students were shortlisted during the drives by the company officials.

In the placement drive, 123 students from different streams of B. Tech participated in TNS Placement drive while 157 students of same streams appeared in Open Text Placement drive. Out of the appeared students, 19 were shortlisted by TNS and 11 by Open Text for the final Interview round.

Giving information, Sagar Sethi (HR Manager, TNS) said that the placement drive included three rounds – Written test, Technical round and HR round. The performance of the students was very appreciating as always, this is the reason we always choose CT Group of Institutions for conducting placement drives.

However, Open Text placement drive had only Online Test round based on Aptitude and Programming. Company’s HR Manager, Naveen and Deepak said, “The final interview round is yet to conduct. The shortlisted would appear and I am sure that maximum number of students has the ability to get recruitment on the annual salary package of Rs. 3.9 to 4.5 Lacs. The students are highly talented and technically sound. This was our first placement drive at CT Group of Institutions and we would surely like to conduct it in the future as well.”

Dr. Manoj Kumar (Group Director, CT Institutions) and S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) appreciated the performance of their students in the co-curricular activities along with studies. They said, “Also it is a moment of joy for our institutions that two top Notch companies have selected our campus for their placement drives.
